A prominent businessman considered making a major acquisition in the US which had sensitive strategic defence implications. TPPR undertook scenario planning of all communications aspects of the deal in the context of the post-9/11 atmosphere in the US, co-operating closely with the target's US management.

A media business was faced with serious negative attacks from a prominent newspaper because one of its non-news divisions had misled a journalist. The result had been the pulping of a whole edition. We were called in to negotiate a resolution with the newspaper. We did this at no cost to the client other than our own fees and expenses. This case study is representative of a number of situations where we have acted to forestall expensive litigation through direct negotiation with a media outlet.

A prominent investor requested TPPR to analyse the reputational and commercial prospects for a specialist online journal in a sensitive area of the media and produce an outline Business Plan if the project appeared feasible (ongoing).

A major UK housing group required advice and support in understanding the policy position of a party that had recently emerged as a significant player in urban politics. TPPR analysed the policies and ideology of the party and made contact, in a transparent way, to establish better understanding as a guide to future policy-making on both sides.
